The ACFE South Florida Chapter and the IIA West Palm Beach and Miami Chapters cordially invite you to our 7th annual joint ACFE & IIA Fraud conference to be held on Friday, March 11th at FIU's Kovens Center.

Program description: This event will feature Frank Abagnale, Fraud Prevention Expert and subject of the best-selling novel and movie Catch Me If You Can.  Frank will provide insight into his life as the notorious imposter of the 1960s.  By age 21, Frank was known as America's most gifted con man, successfully impersonating an airline pilot, pediatrician, stockbroker, college professor, and assistant attorney general, all while cashing $2.5 million in forged checks.  This con man turned crime stopper will provide the latest information to protect institutions, associations and corporations from embezzlement, forgery, counterfeit currency, check fraud, identity theft and internet fraud.  He'll share white collar crime techniques, liability concerns under the new Uniform Commercial Code, and demonstrate the latest document features and equipment.  Frank will be joined by other high-caliber fraud experts to provide guidance on fraud prevention, identification and investigation.
